I like the rap tune at the end of the video. If theyre gonna make music, it might as well be real ok-produced rap instead of garage-tempo underproduced grime $$$$, eh? Cos the rap tune at the end was good.
Why is the video in the garage section of 1xtra?
Nope, your source was correct... he's at no 34
That tune at the end sounds weak
not a big fan of it, there's much better on the album
u getme. ders mor beta traks on da album.Originally posted by missc

im not a fan of the track either, but the lyrics are tight!
They ain't promoted the single well at all. This could have been top ten.
yer if all the lil kids woulda knownit was out it was a definate top 10!!
his hip hop stuff sounds much better than the grimey stuff
you ask me i think he's 2 hyped
The tune is wack but that aint the reason.
I just think Radio 1, Kiss etc were never gonna jump on this tune as it isnt daytime radio friendly.
I was gonna say the same thing! Can u really see Chris Moyles or any B97 Fm type of people playing this record, i don't think so, Although it got cained on the pirates the commercial stations probably won't touch "i love u" with a 50 foot barge pole! No air play = $$$$e position in the charts.
NOT PROMOTED WELL ENUFF TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE, NO1 KNEW IT WAS RELEASED THIS WEEK AND THE TYPE OF AUDIENCE THAT WOULD WANT THIS RIDDIM WOULD HAVE ALREADY GOT IT ON WHITE LABEL, TAPES OR A MIX CD.
I like Vexed, I think it shows that Dizzee had more dimensions to him than people give him credit for.
I Luv U could easily have gone Top 10 with the right promotion. It may not sound radio-friendly, but the fact is that recently lots of 'urban' tunes have gone pop, and the climate is changing.
These labels spend the money to sign the artist, then fuk their releases up. Look at the video, wut is that?? And why did it only come out a few days before the tune's release. And why did they barely promote the release?
Look at Haters by So Solid for example. True they were already big when it dropped, but forgetting who they are, does it sound that much like a tune that should reach 7 or 8 in the charts?
I aint even seen the video for it yet....
Number 34 though.. hmmmm....
The Video is naff, they could of least built a little story from the actual song.......
It wasn't ever gonna go top ten cos everyone who dj's woteva allready have had this for time, Everyone else has got it on bare mix tapes and $$$$ so why buy it from Virgin?, Maybe if they just put a few whites out THEN released it into the charts so everyone had to buy it from Virgin, Hmv etc then it would of gone top 10...maybe.
It come out 6 months too late just like all garage releases.
