One of the hottest MCs of the moment, D Double E, has left N.A.S.T.Y. not a month after producer Jammer also left the crew. Allegedly disputes with the crew’s founder Marcus Nasty led to the rift. “Everyone knows what happened with Jammer” Marcus told RWD exclusively, “D was doing the same kind of thing, and it was out of order. Telling promoters they could put N.A.S.T.Y on flyers and then just turning up himself. He saw Kano as a threat as well for some reason, but he built his name up because of N.A.S.T.Y. He’s said he doesn’t feel safe in the crew anymore, but if he wasn’t doing anything wrong, he had no reason not to feel safe.” Marcus also told us Sharky Major and Stormin’ are making a comeback to the forefront of N.A.S.T.Y. in a big way, and a new tune ‘Hot Water’ produced by Dice’s P-Jam and featuring Kano, Ghetto, Armour and Hyper will be out soon. “I’m not too sure if Footsy and Monkey are in N.A.S.T.Y anymore either” added Marcus, “They were D’s friends, but N.A.S.T.Y. made them, not the other way round.” Marcus finished by telling us he genuinely wanted to wish D Double E, Footsie and Monkey all the best for the future. D Double E was unavailable for comment at the time of going to press
