The line-up is headed by the Godfathers of Break beat Shut Up & Dance, and this is their first ever appearance in Luton. Shut Up & Dance are pioneers of the early rave scene originally forming in 1986 and producing a host of massive underground anthems including '5,6,7,8', '£10 To Get In', 'I'm Raving I'm Raving' and, more recently, 'Reclaim The Streets'. Today the duo of PJ and Smiley mix the oldskool sound with nu-skool breaks and their rare visit to Luton will be part of a national UK Break beat Elite tour that has seen them link up with the likes of The Plump DJs, Stanton Warriors, Krafty Kuts and Deekline while raising money for the humanitarian crisis in Sudan. be laying down some of his classic 88-90 oldskool cuts. Their new mix cd “The Break beat Elite”, with Aquasky, is available in all good record stores now with all profits going to the crisis in Sudan
