Despite being sought by police in California following allegations of child abuse, Michael Jackson's hits album Number Ones is on course to take the number one spot in Sunday's album charts, after a further day of strong sales yesterday.

It is being closely rivalled by Busted's second studio album Crashed The Wedding. Both albums are selling far better than any other albums this week, with Dido and Kylie Minogue's releases offering the closest competition.
