I'm looking for a northeast music act to report on for an assignment at university. I have to write a story aimes at 13-25 year olds in Sunderland and I specialise in music journalism so I though I'd stick with my main area.

I want to hear your story of how your band started and if you've made it big in other areas of the country then that's a bonus. The article will be based on the rise of young/independent music acts and will also encourage young people to go and check out their local music scene.
