Live Music Management in partnership with Walkabout are offering young DJs a unique opportunity to get a free days training and take part in a DJ sound clash with a chance to win £250 Maplin vouchers.

On November 29 2011 Blackpool Walkabout will play host to the first Walkabout DJ Academy and Sound Clash. The event is open to any North West DJs over the age of eighteen wanting to break into bar and night club DJing. All styles of DJ are welcome to take part in the evening event where they will be given 20 minutes to wow the 600 capacity venue and our team of industry professionals.

Any DJs wanting to pursue a career in mainstream bar and party DJing will be offered the opportunity to attend an afternoons training on the day of the Sound Clash in order to get a valuable insight into the skills required by venues such as Walkabout.

The evening event will start at 8pm and run through to 2am.
