Default Ween / Moistoyz fans check this...

You have to wonder who’s bringing the rock these days? The big, loud, dumb fun….. No one exactly springs to mind do they?
That’s why the new Moistboyz single couldn’t have come at a better time. Originally signed to Beastie Boy Mike D’s label, Moistboyz are releasing a double A side 7” of a couple of their old belters. The kind they just don’t make any more where you just have to play it really, really loud. The artwork is pretty damn cool too, with a printed inner sleave. Sleazy, raw, and distorted, it’ll have your little brother shouting expletives at the top of his lungs. ‘1.0 ($$$$ No) kicks off like The Strokes’ ‘Juicebox‘ before the wall of noise guitar kicks in, while ‘Seconhand Smoker’ is probably the bands’ ode to their favourite pass time. Sample lyric: “Mind your baby, she might get cancer, if she plays with me she’ll die much faster”. They really don’t make them like they used to!
The first two Moistboyz albums are also been released next month as one. One big, loud F**k you to all the soft rock floating about at the moment. Make sure you don’t miss the boat this time round.
