*****THE RISE WIN BEST SCOTTISH UNSIGNED BAND 2005*****

The boys will now travel to Londons Astoria on December 7th to take on
the rest of the worlds finest. At Glasgows Soundhaus 15 bands assembled to
take on the title of best in Scotland but only one came out victorious.

The Rise are an original 4 piece indie/dance band from Dundee all in their mid 20's. They have been together for almost 3 years now and the hard work has finally paid off with this great accolade.
The band are 100% self sufficient at the moment from songs to t-shirts and website to promotion. Having supported large acts in the past such as Rick Witter (ex Shed Seven) & Proud Mary they have built up a large following throughout Scotland for their energetic live performances.
