On www.lashed-music.de you can listen to three songs of mine for freeeeee.
I am very interested in your personal judgement so please post your voting here if you like or not.

Thank you for giving me a little of your time and have some fun with the music of "a long lovin' lash" !

Regards (nice to be here)

No offence Marco, but that is not very good. Chuck the drum machine and try and write some songs with more variety. You have good ideas, just make them more interesting.

I don't mean to take the piss or anything. With a bit of work, it should be great.

Hi Ronan,

don't worry! I am definetly not pissed or anything... I am really intersted in what anybody thinks about my music. I also like natural drums a lot more but it isn't too easy to tape them with very limited equipment at home...

Anyway - I am asking for statements so I also have to "take it as a man" if they are not completely excited anytime !!!

Again - honestly - thanks for spending time on my music !

Ever throught about hiring a recording studio? It would be a good investment, I would say.

Well, hiring a recording studio is one of those things: It is easy to find a studio with definently fine equipment in Germany at low costs, but it is -unlike in the U.K.- really hard to find someone who is able to p r o d u c e something like good rock and roll music. Those who are able to, are very, very expensive... Same about german record companies: They won' t pay for a professional production, they want it already produced chart-compatible. So what I try, is to find a community at the www. for my music that could be big enough to convince a label to sign and to produce a record in a professional way.

Thanks for giving a helping hand !

But can't you produce it yourself like you are doing now, just with a studio to work in?

Glad to be of help.

Hi, again !

Yes, that would be an idea, but I would really aprecciate it a lot if somebody would somehow "supervise" my ideas. I.e. Placebo's "sleeping with ghost's" sounds to me like Placebo's usually great ideas + the additional interpretation of that music through the ears of a great producer. So, I don't know if you like Placebo but to me that record is one of the most originell-sounding records I have ever heard. I don't like to compare myself to Placebo or any other well-known bands, but, again, I'd really like it if the final sounding of my music is influenced by the interprtation of someone "outside" the writing and recording. Hope I could have explained what I wanted to say.

Regards

Marco

Yes, I understand what you are saying and yes, I do like Placebo. Wish I could help you with that, but unfortunately, I can't get over to Germany very easily. Have you got any friends or relatives that could do that job? They may not be very professional, but its a step in the right direction.

Hi Ronan,

Thanks again for considering about to help, that is a really kind thing to do. Unfor-tuantly I already tried it with an earlier formation to "use" the know-how of friends and relatives but all that came out was the same thing as it sounded on a 4-track-tape with a few extra fx and some money lost. So I am not looking for a top-of-the-pops-producer but somebody who already made some steps and is ready to go with my kind of music. And all I can say again is that this is a hard thing in my country to realize. But I will continue to go for it....

By the way, your statements seem to me that your are "lost in music" just like me. Have you got a band, songs or anything ? If so I'd really to listen !

Regards

Marco (good to share thoughts with you)

Hi, Ronan !

Well, I am really looking forward to listen...and yes, I know how it feels to work with $$$$ty equipment as well...

By the way - I took the whole evening to work on "walk away" and I hope I will finish it within the next days. I took your advice by heart and listened mor than critically again to that song. I know by now that you are right. I guess, and even more hope, that there is more into that song than I was able to perform yet.

Regards and well-wishes for your and your brother's musical experience

Hi Marco,

That's sounding much better. The fact it was not professionally recorded is much less noticeable now. Good work.

I'm happy that I have influenced you and I hope you do well in the future.

Hi Ronan,

thanks again. Best well-wishes for you, too

Please let me know when you are ready to make me listening to some of your recordings. For me it will mean to work through all my recordings and be surprised or maybe disappointed where I can take it to.

Regards again

Thanks very much.

Sure, I will get some to you as soon as we come up with something decent. We don't get much time to practice, but I'm sure we can use our time wisely. Thank you for your interest.
