'Ello, welcome on board!

I wasn't at the Earls Court gig but I was at the Brummie gig. They totally kicked arse! Hope they were just as good in London.

We also had the same supports, and I too missed the Eagles Of Death Metal. The Futureheads were OK. To be honest I didn't think they were suited for the Foos - didn't think they appealed to the Foo fanatics and the audience didn't really respond much to them.

I see what your saying. I liked them before so I kinda knew what to expect. People seating weren't up, and the people standing wern't responding. I was there on the 17th tho, the 18th had supergrass!

Went to Birmingham and both Earls Court dates - and oh my god they were 10x better at Earls Court (hard to imagine I know) but the sunday at Earls Court I think was the best gig of my whole entire life!!

Didn't the Sunday night miss out on Dave "the legend" Grohl running into the audience? The guitar duel was definitely a hightlight. Apparently he (and his guitar) got attacked pretty badly on the Sat night so didn't do it again on Sun. Did any of you get standing? And it does have to be said, the Brummies do tend to be a bit too polite at gigs -even the Foos'!

No, standing was sold out fast. But we we're pretty close. Dave was right in front of us when he ran into the audience. It didn't seem that badly damaged, he had MASSIVE bouncers running with him. The duel was good.
I dunno if it tops Green day at Milton Keynes. That was voted Top Gig in Kerrang...the atmosphere there was slightly better. But its definatly a close second.

The GD gig looked good on DVD - not had the pleasure of seeing them live yet!

I have it on DVD, it was the night I was there. It was a really good atmosphere, Taking Back Sunday, Jimmy Eat World and Hard-fi were a good supporting line-up aswell. Looking forward to more good gigs this year.

There certainly wasn't any politeness in our area at Birmingham when we went to see the foos! lol!
Dave didnt run out into the crowd on the sunday - but think because I'd already seen it twice I could let him off that one! My Hero was amazing!!!!
