I recently posted a topic here searching for a band whose video I had but didn't know who they were. So personally, I think that's one of the best bands I heard in a while.

The Red Suns
I heard this band on local radio yesterday and they blew me away, a great refreshing big sound that has been forgotten by most bands in recent times
The band are on deltasonic records with the likes of the coral and the zutons. The singles called "Give Me Gold" Check it out and show your support like i did.
Incubated. Alternative metal from the north east are great. Seen them once in Manchester.

Vatican Roulette This new London band called Vatican Roulette, I think they're pretty rad. Very grunge rock but not in an obvious way, a bit like QOTSA with a girl singer. You should take a look if you haven't heard of them and you like that kinda scene.
