Callenge! - Name the tune

I need some help from someone with a knowledge of 80's rock.

I am trying to track down a song which I heard a few times in the 80s, my recollection of it is very poor and I haven't heard it since - so my apologies for the lack of info to go on. I have tried lyric search engines with no luck.

The two phrases I remember go something like:

"...invisible airwaves...."

and

"... since I was a lonely boy...."

I'm not expecting miracles - but its worth a go... many thanks if you can help.
