Default Y lock off this forums most popular topic??

Just read the check this studio topic , found it real interesting and disappointed to see it locked off its not like it was immoral or obscene or anything just a lively debate

Neway If I had the means I would go Matrix (is special t still there)
too but certain genres means that manz can get paid by taking shortcuts until they get a budget

I think JJ and others were talking at cross purposes as if you are working on contracted bizness it pays to push quality production values whereas a lot of bedroom studios are just writing/demo joints that can with care get to a pressing stage.

Nice topic

It's a fair point. I understand where JJ is coming from, but if I want a 2 step live pattern, then I'll record one in the first place, rather than tweaking a 4/4. While I'd love to beef up my studio, most garage productions came from budget set-ups initially - it's only after making money that way that we can afford to upgrade in most cases.
