Default whats wrong

I record samples onto my computer from mini disc, but the playback is 2 quiet. Could any 1 tell what is wrong.

Your input isn't running hot enough. You may need to up the input gains so that you have as loud a signal as possible without distorting the audio.

Check in your audio mixer control panel and watch the line input as you're playing stuff through it and adjust the fader appropriately so that you're not in the red, but well up in volume.

You can also adjust the gain once you've recorded the sound in, but that may just boost your noise floor, depending on the quality of your card.

there's really no other answers.

If something is too quiet, turn it up.

Make sure that you're going through the line in and not the mic in, etc. etc.

i record my records and Md's using a mixer and amp it gives u loads of volume control. mite help ya
