it would have been a good idea to allow people more than one option.

personally I use a whole host of software to make music with: Protools, logic platinum, nuendo, peak, csound not to mention plugins etc.

Nuendo...
waiting to upgrade to v2.0 then I could get rid of VST32/5.1 which I use mainly for midi.

I used to think that too until I finally made the transition! I *was* Mr.Cubase and I would've died for it, lol. But now that I'm a Logic user, I can't live without it. I personally find Logic a better program and easier to use. It's very straightforward and *Logical*.

Yeah its nothing to do with the program itsself but the way its set out i used cubase once and vowed never to touch it again but then a mate sat me down infront of sx and i just found it easier to use plus now theyrer doing this crossgrade thing where if your a registered logic user you can buy sx for like 199 so i might as well

Yeah, it will be handy if you could use both. But I heard that SX was trying to be Logic, you know with the layout and colour schemes. What do you think?

id say steinberg have established themselves a a respected company i dont think theyd need to rip off emagic.

like i said the problem i have with logic is the layouts and scemes so as far as im concerned this factor in sx is better.

you can run the two together which is what i plan on doing

Hmmm, not too much support for the Cakewalk products. They're easily the most user friendly.
