Default Vocal Production?

Hi all you hip cats.

basically i'm looking for help with vocal production, what type of effects/layering etc should i use to make them sounds more full and professional?? Is there any hardware that i should buy to enhance it?

Maybe purchase a vocoder.

Sorry dont know too much about it but if you have a high quality recording just a bit of reverb makes it sound pro. Also maybe a chorus effect.

Don't know if you have already but use a compressor on untreated vocals, Waves do a good package with a tight vocal compressor - makes it sound punchy. You can also use some Parametric EQ and depending on the sound you want, reverb, delay and chorus.
