Default Setting Up The Swing Maunally On Logic ..........

Does n e one kno how to do this and give me tips on the best type of % to use on there ??.

ok you can either make things nice and easy and go the triplets route, ie. set your grid setting in the transport to 1/24, now when you put your beats 'bang on' the grid lines, you'll automatically get a swing, assuming you choose the correct grid lines that is. This way is useful as all programming remains strictly on beat and its nice and clinical.

alternatively, well you could choose a '16a swing' or maybe '16b swing'. and just adjust the strength in the quantise menu (double click on quantise in the channel strip) until it sounds good. This is more flexible than the triplet route, and you can finely adjust the amount of swing. I dunno a strength of maybe 66% is a useful ballpark figure.
