    Recording Vocalz

    i can make tunes EZ enuf but i need some people who can sing...but wen i record i get a slight buzz/ring (might b coz i use headphones lol) if i get a quality mic it will b better..right?
    i have a good sound card so thats ok

    you got it. i suggest you invest in a very good mic and preamp as well as sound card if you plan to record vocals. ideally you should probably go for one of those a digitial things.

    record vocals cheaply and you will have to do ALOT of work to fix them up. if it is even possible.

    A decent preamp like the Joemeek will set you back £179, it's a single channel mic & line amp, Eq compressor. If you choose to invest in a 'condensor' mic, this unit has phantom power, which powers such a mic. If you wanna leave the pre amp out or not, go for a Shure SM58(Dynamic mic) £75.99, it's the so called industry standard mic, used all over the world.
    Oh, and dont forget some stockings or tights around a metal coat hanger, helps cut out p's and b's, that mc's spit.

    ha! like i can get that type of money lol cheerz anyway , im only 14 so i cant get much money ..... but i make good tunes!

    TRy getting a cheap second hand one from cash converters or sthg.
