You can actually rip the stream to .wav using Windows Sound Recorder as it comes in if you have enough disk space.

There's also lots of free MP3 compressors on the net that do it real time. I had one but I can't remember where from and what it was called.

Another alternative is to link the audio output from your soundcard to a minidisc or tape recorder, and just record it as it comes in.

With Windows 2000
start -> programs -> accessories -> entertainment -> sound recorder.

Yeh I set my stereo up with a wire thats got yellow and white wires joined 2 one wire.
I fit tha yellow and white in2 my stereo, and tha other in2 tha speaker socket at tha back of my PC.
Switch tha Stereo in2 "AUX" mode and play tha realplayer while recordin it on tape, piss easy really.
