yo im a producer an i produce hip hop .. buh im havin alot of diffaculty creatin hits and stabs ( like the main melody thing in lil kim whoa kinda of a string sound or somin) if anyone knows any tips, hints or methods on how to create them . i wud b most grateful and you wud b helping me ALOT !

heirs a tip, get a nice drumloop knocking.
Load up a string preset in whatever module, vst etc that you use!
(make sure it has a fast attack)
Simultaneously Press A(sharp) on 2 different octaves (for e.g. A(sharp)3 & A(sharp)4
Play around with your combinations but remember to always be playing two keys from different octaves at the same time!
