Mac for speed, they are basically a server but they do cost more. 99% of the designers/musicians I know use a Mac if that helps.

I currently use a PC, but am interested in getting a Mac..

I know a lot of peeps run Mac's for the production and stuff, but i've always had a PC!... i've never used a Mac before, and i do get a bit worried thinking about payin £2k for a Mac only to realise it doesnt work properly or i have no clue on how to use it!

    Wouldn't mind a mac laptop tho :P

ive got a pc - but my housemate has (finally) got a mac - they took 4 months to deliver - it didnt work - another month to replace - then recall for 'upgrading' and the compensation of a printer only arrived after all of the above had happened.

so - yep they're great - as long as the work coz the aftercare is $$$$e
