Nope, I have sample CDs that cost around $200 for the set of 2 or whatever.

The really good ones that are programmed with sets that instantly load into your samplers keymapped etc. are very expensive - cause it takes time for the makers to well...make them!

They are also very expensive because you are also buying out a royalty in order to allow yourself to use them on your tracks. Cheap sample CDs usually involve no royalty buyout and so if you release something with them on, you will end up paying silly amounts of money for the privealage to use them on your tracks.

I CAN SEE WHY THERE SO EXPENSIVE BUT HOW MANY OF THE SAMPLES DO YOU REALLY USE IT WOULD BY BETTER IF YOU COULD PICK AND CHOOSE AND HAVE THEM PUT ON A SEPERATE CD THAT WOULD BE WORTH THE MONEY.

There are services online where you can buy samples on a per sample basis, but it tends to be FAAAAARRR more expensive. My cousin runs one called

http://www.sound-effects-library.com/

it's good but about a fiver a sample.

As far as I know, it's already been releasedsh-32

It seems ok, but it's a pity it's only dual oscilator.

The roland SH line of synths were very nice. I'd really love an SH-5 if I could ever find one. The SH-101 is a bit over popular and overrated though. I just got an SH-3a which is lovely, it has a funny feature which allows you to make it sound like it's got about 10 oscilators so it's super FAT.

It's £399 I think. It's 4 part multitimbral and 32 voices of polyphony with drum sounds as well as synths but no sequencer etc.

Not worth it IMO but then again I hate anything virtual. For 400 quid I'd get a couple of decent analogue synths.
