Logic 5.3 MACOS X

lady-j Fit Bird DJ Join Date: Nov 2001 Posts: 970	Logic 5.3 MACOS X Anyone else using this to produce? It's a heavy program but I was wondering if there is anyway to load non OSX VSTi's?? i have loads of Mac Classic (9.2) VSTI's and would love to use them. Other than getting my head around Logic 5 and adjusting to life in the dirty south....Is it me or are all of the busses in Peckham, Clapham, and Brixton like 4 years older than the other busses in use? lady-j

SmoothKriminal Smooth n Soulful Join Date: Aug 2002 Posts: 100	This is why I will never get OSX n more so, Logic 5.3 for OSX.. u'll never b able 2 use VST plug-ins or any of ya VSTi's on this version.. Apple is hopin dat da peeps who make da VST n VSTi's will convert them 2 run on this new style VST ting that only works on macs. I was nuff pleased when I heard mac bought out emagic but since it's happened I have this feelin dat it's just gonna cost me more money than I have n dat it might go belly up!

As far as VST plug-ins, I believe you need carbonized versions of them for them to run at all under X. How is Logic? I'm waiting for Cubase SX for X. Should be out in... oooh! Tomorrow!
