I just finished uploading some tracks from mini-disk. You need to connect a lead from the headphone socket (or line out socket) to the line-input socket of your soundcard and use whatever software you have to the recording. The only problem here is that your converting a digital signal to analogue and back to digital again so make sure you have decent quality leads (stereo connection) and a decent quality soundcard.

Your mini-disc player may have the option transfering data to your computer by a USB connection, which is a better option as there would no loss in sound quality.
