Default how do i...

how do i sample something then kill or icolate the beats and vocals so i just have the bass? which programs would i need

You'll never be able to totally seperate anything when it's mixed together, but you could try this:

Convert to mono (this will kill off some higher frequency phase, bass sounds are always central) or convert to an M-S matrix and only use the Mid portion (a bit tricky but Waves S1 MS plug in does it for you).

Use a Brick Wall filter to separate the bass out. You will probably still have some kick sounds in the signal but you can get rid of these fairly easily because they aren't long sustained sounds, so you can cut them out and paste in the bass on it's own from other areas.

If there was a higher frequency buzz in the bass signal that was lost from the brick wall filter, you could reconstrust this using a distortion plug in and a low pass filter in order to mould together the sound that you want.


Alternatively you could just make your own basslines
