Default Help in modifying voice sounds to create radio effect

Subject says it all really.

I have Sony SOund Forge and want to find a way to 'radioise' wav files so that they sound as if they've been transmitted over vhf radio - like air traffic control type sound. I've tried a few filters but they don't quite do the trick - can anyone help me please?

Thanks

Any audio recording and editing software will be of use. Suggests to try FlexiMusic Wave Editor, from the menu, choose "Effects" option where in select either "Stretch/ shrink" or "Modulate" command. With the "Stretch/ shrink" command can change female voice to male and the use of "Modulate" command is, by using various frequencies, can modulate your voice to create special sounds (synthetic, robot or animal voices etc).
