most likely a memory constraint.
fruity may not be able to handle files larger than X size...
One of the (many) limitations of an inferior product (for audio handling)
any suggestions for a replacement for fruity??
Logic, Cubase, Reason (Reason has it's own limitations tho) etc
well, first, the vocal won't be at the right speed. u need a cooledit type program for that. afterwards, cut the vocals up in to usable sections on said program, adjust your filter cutoff and envelopes (so the whole sound plays) and load them into the samplers. also, so you don't get over-runs, select the 'cut it's self' option in the sampler. that should bout do it!
yeah, you could also do what Tman says - kinda a long way around, but effective if you're on a tight budget.
well, it's also a good way to get experience in sample manipulation, a good thing to know if you want to continue progressing in your production
thought none of us will ever be as good as you or lady j, sen!
tools and time, tiger...tools and timeyou lot will be busting me up in no time!
Gunschott,
Is the sample longer than the 'song'. Fruity assumes that the song is finished if there are no more samples to play and it goes back to the beginning and repeats as you describe.
Try sticking in another trigger way down the play list to make the song longer than the sample.
cheers,
Tony
PS I'm new round here so please forgive me if I have overlooked something!
no. just put the vocal on 1 track on its own, put it at the start of the playlist and build everything around it.
have fun![]()
