Default final mix down

Ok...Heres the dilema i'am faced with....Ive completed a few

tracks using fruity cubase & reason, which when compared to

other ukg tracks mines no where near the level of mastering

they've achieved... Is there a place where i can take my

reason/cubase file with all the wavs/samples on disk give it to an

engineer so he can load it on his pc and do all the mixing and

mastering then i come back the next day to collect and pay him.

thx in advance.....

yeah, talk to Fat Zed when he's back from vacation (he might be already...dunno)

If you're near Bedford, or willing to travel, he's your man

I do professional mixing/mastering. Here's how I treat unsupervised work:

1. We agree on a price. It would likely be somewhere in the neighborhood of $150/$200 (depending on track length, number of parts, etc.) US for mixing and mastering ($30-50 per song for mastering only).

2. I spend an hour or two getting the basic mix, then send out an mp3 or CD file of the first minute or so.

3. If you like it, you pay me to finish. If not, then you pay nothing and I give you the tracks back unmixed.

4. You do not pay me for any materials or postage on my end. I ship back two audio CDs of the track, as well as your original data disks.

Since your from Outer Space, postage may make the cost of doing business this way higher, but it's the best price/quality combo you will find anywhere, trust. Also, you spend none of your time on it, which for some people is a good thing, for others, not so good.

One love.
