ok mate you ll need a couple of things to help you with this tool

SCSI CONNECTION

( this is so you can pull your samples from the sampler to an audo editor like soundforge or whateva and send them back)

ZIP DRIVE or JAZ DRIVE or EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE

(this is to store you sample banks and tunes)

all of the above are great

if you saving to floppy there foking crap so for any tunes try and get any of the above

and MIDI

(this is you control source from logic cakewalk cubase or whateva)

i myself had one so if need tips on use then ill send you some tip n tricks

just mail me

nice one morph!...

SCSI connection, where can i pick one of these up?.. and where do i plug in the other end (i know one goes into the sampler)

ZIP / JAZ / External Drive, cant i just use my Hard drive on my comp?

Midi - im assuming i need a MIDI lead for this?.. from my sampler to my comp?

And any help would be greatly appreciated

Yeah you need a MIDI connector or a MIDI interface.

These samplers are good. I know of one famous UKG producer whose studio consists of just one of these and a load of compressors. Any guesses?

ok mate you will need a scsi card for your pc and thats where the other end goes

(get scsi ultrawide connection) for your pc

the confusing part is that the endz are to different types but both start with scsi

the sampler end is like a printer port and the other is small this is scsi 2 connection (Check coz so are sometimes scsi 1/2/3)

i myself use tekram utrawide scsi port that costed about 40-50 bucks

OK, SCSI wise it would be best to get a portable SCSI cd-rom so you can easy load sample cd's(this is whats done with my akai sampler)

zip drives are really good to!

be aware that if you get an ultra wide scsi on your computer and connect it to your sampler that the SCSI will only run at the speed of the slowest object in the chain, ie the sampler, so it may not be worth getting a decent scsi connection
