Default Cutting up acapellas?

Any tips of programs that are good for this?

I cut up all my samples in protools and cubase and when I toss them into my mpc they sound great.

But when I try to lay a foundation for vocal track remix, everthing
seems to get ofbeat.

I don't really know how to cut and paste it togheter.

Any tips?

Peace.

Dunno about Protools. I use Wavelab and it works fine.

Cool Edit is very useful for chopping up samples, Cubase I think is too cumbersome.

dont use acis coz u loose quailty when u time strech use cool edit pro it's the easies to use against wave lab soundforge and acid

quailty starts on 192 u could end up taking it down to 96 using acid with its time streching cut your sample in cool edit and when u paste in cubase it will auto sync all u need do then is match the rate with the beats so forth

yeah when u put a sample in it will speed your sample up to the matchin bpm u have on your transport bar

avoid usin acid bruv serious cool edit i rekon is top cos u dont have to do bare zoomin in and out the wav graphic is v.good as well.

just my thoughts

acid is more spot on for finding the right BPM tho...

can you recommend any other than a $$$$ metronome?

would I past my samples from cool edit into the audio window of cubase yeah.. (not loads of audio tracks?!)

never considered using cubase for this but it would save me alot of time and I could make it more "part" of the tune using rewire.

niceness
