Default CUBASE WITH DUAL MONITORS

JUST A QUIK MESSAGE FOR ALL YOU PRODUCERS OUT THERE !!!!!!!GET YOURSELF ANOTHER VIDIO CARD AND MONITOR .Been meaning to add a second monitor to my setup 4 ages and finally got round to doing it a few days ago .WOW........I dont no how i managed before ............Arrange page ,Editors ,Mixer ,Instruments ,Plugins etc all on one screen ,Just stop and think how many times you move back and forth the arrange page /editors in say a 3-4 hour session !!!!!Would u like to be able to moniter all of your mixer channels without scrolling back and forth ,would u like to run cubase and say wavelab/recycle without having to keep minimizing 1 to get to the other ,would u like to run cubase on 1 screen while browsing the web on the other the list is end less .now my second monitor is installed i put the arrange page on 1 screen and anything else i open ,like magic ;-], pops up on my 2nd screen.when i click on a midi event the key editor goes to my second screen ,no more minimizing 5 pages to find the 1 im looking for .I could go on all day about how much easier /enjoyable cubase is to work with but im just gonna say 1 more thing ,............GET A DUAL MONITOR SETUP IN YOUR STUDIO NOW AND WHEN YOU DO COME BACK AND AND THANK ME FOR LETTING U NO HOW 2 MAKE YOUR SEQUENCER/COMPUTER SO MUCH SO MUCH EASIER TO WORK WITH.............(MASTERING A TUNE WITH WAVELAB ON 2ND MONITOR WHILE WRITING THIS ON 1ST)

Frankie P: Are you left handed?

Rather than getting dual monitors you could get yourself a control surface, then you don't need to look at your mix window.

Too obvious eh?

The 01V serves as my control surface. But I still need to monitor it in the mix window coz it's not a dedicated software control surface with an lcd that you could see the parameters or where you are. Serves my purpose though...

as for the dual monitors , theres no point doing this unless you have at least a 21inch screen and your already running your monitor in no less than 1600 resolution.

hmmm...
had the monitors setup like that for almost 2 years now and had been using it almost everyday without problems. If they blow, so be it. Time to get new ones anyway. Thanks for the tip though.

maybe those ibm monitors are screened well, and i suppose those magnets arent too big on those drivers either, so thats probably why, as for the tannoys we were using , they were 18inch cones and the magnets were very powerfull, heh

Default dual monitor problem

Can anyone tell me why I can't move my cubase windows across to my second monitor when I use Cubase. The only one which moves across is the 'transport panel'.
Thanks
