Couple of things...

Not a good case on the example. If you're building a PC and you might be recording vocals, you want as low noise as possible. The spangly sparkly cases are not good for insulating the noise inside a PC though of course careful choice of what goes in the innards is hugely important.

The big mistake most people make is the PSU by underspeccing the power supply. This is also a big source of noise. Extra bucks spent here help a lot for not damaging your calm.
