| yer i'm 16 aswell. i use cubase, wavelab, sonic foundry acid
not completed any tunes yet, still working on them!
paul: how do you convert cubase files to real player thingies?

#4 | | Guest | When you have made a tune in Cubase go to Export which is in the file menu and then select audio file. choose it to be exported as a wav because it is betta quality than an mp3. then load real producer and basically load the wav file into it and press start. then if it says add ur clip to janus or something just ignor it!! | |

#6 | | Guest | yeh they are garage and they play in real player. u need to paste them links into the adress bar of real player or go to www.paulc.150m.com and click on the links there. | |

| im 16 aswell.
how many tunes in total have you all made then? are they good enuff to get cut? im making 3 tunes at the moment, 1 r'n'b the other 2 ukg - 1 be 4/4 the other breakbeat garage. |

| yer dfx safe. i've only made the one tune at the moment. its drum and bass. paul's made a few. he came second in the girls town remix comp. what programmes do u use then m8? |

| i use reason, sound forge and recycle. i badly need a midi controller - buying a roland 200 ...soon! the reason why i havent finished anything is because i get the idea and it takes long just to get the sound you want - comes with learning i guess. midi controller helps alot though dont it. |

| Well, sort of, if you know what you're doing and can play in time to the music  it's just a piano keyboard for whatever sound you happen to be playing with.
Other than that, it's more about learning how to synthesize sounds and how your tools (filters/eqs/envelopes/etc) work to shape sounds. |

| yea, im 16 and i've been producing for about a year. not that that means anything, my productions are still $$$$e! im a dedicated fruity user and i just got cool edit for vocals. any one recomed a good mic company for recording vocals, the one im currently using for my vocalist is $$$$e (like my tunes!)  |

I'm surprised if you can. My Neumann 149 iz the bollox tho, much less than $20,000 as well. |
