I could only listen on Lo Fi coz the hi one aint cleared yet.

    Anyway feedback....

I think your voice needs to sound a bit more aggy if you know waht i mean.

The vocal recording dont sound too clever either. It needs to be adlibed, this was mentioned in another post but basically, you need to record yourself doing just the end words or sentance of a bar, then layer it over the top of the vocal track

    not too bad overall though

    Keep it up

nah i mean like more aggresive.

Yeah not just the end word though, it could be a whole line. Try and make it sound as close to the orig as poss, then layer over the top

if you want an example to work from, go on my Soundclick and listen to "life vocal". i used ad libs on there for the MC, panned some of the vocals on the intro etc

What sequencer are you using to make your tracks with?

yeah, if your making music on a PC ideally you dont wanna be using it for internet as well, coz of things like viruses. IF you get one you might need to format you HDD and lose all your songs, samples, VST's etc.

If you got money get a carillion PC, there desinged for making music, they make hardly any CPU / HDD noise etc.

Try somewhere like www.turnkey.co.uk or www.digitalvillage.co.uk

    Or even http://www.carillondirect.com/clnweb...jsp?country=UK

Make sure if you dont get a carillon you buy a decent soundcard for your PC. You'll ideally need to spend £200 on that alone.

EMU do some decent sound cards

Djing wise, i used to be on radio, done quite a few clubs and bars, highlight was a boat party at St Katherines dock (next to tower bridge).

I dont really DJ anymore though. Lost the love for it really but cannot bring myself to sell my decks and tunes! I aint bought a record in time, and aint had a mix for even longer. Im concentrating on the procuction side more these days.

yeah basically its for sound quality. It should have alot more inputs than a standard card too. My one came with an external box with bare different types of connections you can plug into it like a mic, phono inputs (for decks etc), optical input and outputs, firewire, headphones, etc etc

You'll need a good one if your sampling especially.

This one looks pretty good for £99! Has got an external box too, 24 Bit/96 kHz is a decent enough sample rate. Mines got 24 Bit/192 kHz but i dont think ive ever gone up that high.

Sound quality would be ok, but not great, especially after mastering and playing it on a loud club system it mite get distorted.

Its not just sound quality though. Its things like MIDI interfaces (which you dont get on a normal soundcard), sample rate etc
