Marina and The Diamonds

I don't know if anyone here has listened to her but Marina is currently one of my favorite artists!


I was kind of hesitant to put her in pop because she's not really Lady GaGa or Beyonce and she sort of dabbles, but after thinking it over I think pop is probably appropriate.

Have any of you guys listened to her before? What do you think? I was most struck by her lyrics. Probably because female pop singers aren't exactly known for their "genius" lyrics..

i really LOVE M&TD she does have very amazing (Oh No!), clever(Seventeen) and heart-wrenchingly honest (numb) lyrics and i think although she's no lady gaga they do share the thought that just because it's "pop" music doesnt mean it cant be deep or meaningful
