Default INTRODUCING..The City Joy Cons

electr/indie/pop/amazing

The Joy Con story starts in the cloudy September 2004,
when Chris and Scott met at college.
The two boys together went through different
band line-ups each time pushing themselves
to make something fresh, interesting and worthwhile
listening to. Eventually, after Chris invested in a Micro Korg,
the two found themselves exploring the world of
synthesizers and mixing their newfound electronic edge
to modern pop/rock music. As their array of synths grew,
so did the members of the band; life-long friend Adam
got taken in to operate the synths with Chris and after
searches for a new drummer, Jon was found on their doorstep.

Unlike a lot of new guitar driven bands appearing on
the music scene the Joy Cons set out to create a familiar
but new sound, that delivers powerful and upfront messages
about there lives and hometown. Their sound is very dynamic
and electric with their songs showing plenty of diversity
and creativity. Full of life, electricity and power;
The City Joy Cons are working on something
that they are passionate about and that they believe in. These boys arent waiting around for opportunites to hit them in the face, theyre out trying to find them..

“The songs are full of energy, highly catchy and extremely clever”
