Default Cheryl Cole to go solo?

Hey,
If rumours are to be believed then apparently Cheryl Cole is set to launch a solo career. She's currently staring in Will.i.am's new video 'Heartbreaker'. Ironic eh? It's a great song but Cheryl really doesn't add too many vocals. Take a look http://audiotube.com/file/2853-will...artbreaker.html. Just wondering if Cheryl would be any good on her own? What do people think? xx

I don't think Cheryl has a chance of making it solo! The girls collectively have talent, but separately I do not think they would attain as much success particularly in music. Cheryl will probably make it, if she keeps breaking up and getting back together with her husband so she can keep herself in the magazines...

Yeah I agree, I don't think her voice is strong enough. Actually I don't think any of the girls voices would be strong enough on their own, they support each other. That said, I like the video and it's a really sweet song. Maybe she should date Will.i.am instead, can't be any worse!

I think the song is really catchy, but do not understand why Cheryl was chosen for that video. Don't get me wrong, I love girls aloud, but I think Cheryl looks ridiculous in it, and think it's ruined Will.I.Am credibility.

After the performance with Will.I.am

I don't think Cheryl should be attempting a solo career! She sounded dreadful! As a unit they are picture perfect, fashionistas who support each other vocally - and so it works... on her own she just looks silly!
