Default 2008: will Pop get the best of Indie?

I love Indie/rock music, don't get me wrong, I just have the feeling that peolpe want to have a break from that genre. I keep seeing artists such as Adele, Girls Aloud, McFly and Natalia (bloody hell, this girl is everywhere on the net at the moment!!! has anyone seen her performing?) on Sky channels and I like that......what do u think?

according to her website, natalia has been performing all over the place recently to promote her first release - she looks & sounds a bit like britney to me .................
