heres a story about a 12 year old boy
had no love he had no joy
got bullied at school no where to turn
but no one knew and had no concern
but hes up all night cryin in bed
thinkin if it would be better if he ended up dead
he reads the bible for a helpin hand
while lookin at the sky at that promised land
hes written out a note for his mum n his dad
after all the bullyin n crazy ideas he had
but doesnt have the guts 2 take his life
but he doesnt call it life coz its only strife
he really doesnt know what to do
he wants help but doesnt know who to turn to
look at him now u can see hes a wreck
hes the saddest person u could ever have met

life, yeh its hard for some
look at us all thinkin were someone
we ignore the pain and feelings of others
teenagers tryna be fathers and mothers
theres people diein people cryin
theyve all given up there done tryin
poverty and war all over the earth
coz people only care about there own worth

You look on tv and see a starving kid
but you wont help out no heaven forbid
its not effectin you its not your mess
u think your money would just be useless
but every penny helps every penny counts
coz these poor people their goin without
they got no water n they got no food
you'd want help too if it was you
so get your finger out do whats right
help these poor people have at shot at life
you can save lives and feel good about it too
just by givin them less than the cost of a shoe
lets get together and stop poverty
instead let make life for them nice and easy
if it was a friend youd give them some money
but coz you dont know them u gotta be funny

nah it aint my life aint been easy but it aint been that bad either its just summin that came from the heart and i know there are kids out there that have these troubles and have no one to turn to
