Kat I think you'll find you don't . . . well I've never noticed.

It's white girls in particular who make me cringe . . . trying to be something they're not!

DA NEXT WHITE GIRL I SEE WID CAINROW, IM GONNA PULL HER HAIR OUT WHERE SHES STANDING!

Why do people have to imitate jamaicans. As one, I find it irritating and annoying, that jamaicans cant have nuttin to ourselves.

Double standards.!!!

why do black africans/west indians with the exception of some Jamaicans, all speak like they are Yardies??

even though the majority of them wouldnt dare speak like that at home??

A good example, a couple of weeks back, me and a mate were queueing up for some club, he is mixed race and speaks more $$$$ney then anything, but as soon as these yardies, who straight off the plane, joined the queue my mate suddenly grew and accent. this pisses me off!!!!!!

At the end of the day it sounds and looks just as stupid on a white person as it does on a black person who hasnt just come from jamaica!!! so shut your mouth!!!

From round here, people think if they act like blacks, they can get in with the "black" crews - so they walk, talk and act like it, but they aint. At very best they get beats from every 1 who sees it happenin....

kinda gay.

ok if ur just wearing it thats 1 thing, but if ur wearing it along with some wannabe jamaican attitude and accent and vibe and tryna be all up in jamaicans culture then NO.

oh and by the way, when we were ENSLAVED u gave us mostly western clothing and a PIDGIN or CREOLE language - half way between an african and english language whereby the slaves could communicate on a minimal scale with the slave masters, thats why patois is half english.

go celebrate ur own culture, lets not have everyone the same cos the world will be boring.

BTW, wouldnt it be more reasonable for jamaicans to take on characteristics of their host country(i was born here and dont consider myself 100% english, at least not until the need for the BNP and NF is over) rather than the HOSTS tryna imitate the "guests"?

When in rome (UK) do as the romans (proper english peeps), not the opposite way round.

yeah alex, the amount of africans or even other carribeans that try and use jamaican swear words. Its obv theyre using them to sound "cooler", which is just dumb.

I guess the non-ja carribeans seem to think Ja and their island are sister-islands. Whereas africans jus blatantly try to be cooler using them.

I think.

Itz worse wen u see sumone, tryna act lik sutn their not, lookin uncomfortable wid tha way they look.

Alex i agree wid wot ur sayn, but its also funi wen u see this happen, coz u can tell, the swicth tween $$$$ney to patois is too unbelievable!

i dont dress like a $$$$$ i like smart river island style of dressing , i do occasionaly come out with words as u put it $$$$$ words but i also come out with high class english words or posh words as most ppl call them.
I have an attitude and i love arguements but it ist tring to be black its a family thing all my family love arguements we are witty and sarcastic its part of being Irish.
People forget that somethings arnt just jamacian.
P.S Black is a colour not an attitude

As i said earlier i cud quite easily turn a round and say who r all dese black girls haveing stright perms wanting white girls hair who are all these black boys wearing white ppl`s clothes designed by white culture who are all these black ppl speaking proper english words dont they have there own language

people go on about how everyone, regardless of colour, is the same inside and that we are all equal to one another.

Bearing that in mind, wheres the problem if they immitate one another?
