So, personal beef aside, what does everyone make of the concept of being a $$$$$$? Why is(n't) it so wrong and why does it happen? I think it's a bigger cultural issue than people make out. The idea that someone would rather be influenced by a foreign culture than their own is a bit worrying for a lot of people. Maybe it's just a transition as white British culture takes onboard influences from cultures it's had mixed in with it? Views...

I know white people who act more 'black' than most of my black/mixed mates, so where's the definition of 'black attitude' come into play?

I think there's two kinds of $$$$$$. One's a white person who's lived around black people and picked up a lot of their habits like speech, clothing, musical preferences. Nothing wrong with that, only natural.

Then there's the laughable ones who copy the stereotypes of "black culture" they see in the media. They've got so many mixed up preconceptions of black people that when they try and emmulate them, they end up looking stupid. These $$$$$$s are just as prejudiced about black people as white racists are, really.
