it was way back when, retracing memories of a yout in the street/
taking precautions, girls havin underage abortions, 4 peeps killed a week/
the situation is dire, we were poor and family morale wasnt at its peak/
individuals picked for being a freak, beaten up til they fell into a deep deep sleep/
i used to freestyle with a stella in my hand n people listened wen i speak/
i used to inform of the dangers in the street n how a gun turns brehs into beasts/
lets all sit down and reminisce the area we lived in, the streets../
