Rules of Voting.

From now on there will be no polls all votes must be detailed acounts of who they thought won and why,put a bit of effort please, I scratch your back you scratch mine mentality please,So from now on when ever a battle takes places when it's finished leave a reply with who you thought won and why even if it's not incredibly detailed.Keep in mind that battles will no longer be won by poll votes

U will have to vote on categories, and judge who is the better MC by theses qualities:

Aight text battling and audio battling are very different, text you gotta show you got some skillz and use your head, here is a quick guide with some of the essential aspects you need..

Structure
This is a key element of battling, if the readers cant understand or be bothered to read your verse, your not gonna get the votes. Keep the bars structured, dont make your lines too long, write in proper English and dont use too many characters (", *, - etc) Although it can be to your advatnage if you emphasise certain punches or multis.

Flow
Obviously a flow is important. If the voter cant flow with your drop it reduces your chance of winning. Try to keep bars the same length, use commers when a break is needed, just simple stuff to increase your chance of winning.

Vocab
Complex vocab is always good to emphasise a battle. Instead of using "kill", try "demolish". Dont be afraid to pick a thesaurus up and look for words, but on the other hand dont use vocab that people wont understand.

Rhyming
If you cant rhyme properly your chances of winning are next to none. On a text battle, each line should rhyme. Its a simple aspect of battling that needs to be considered all the time.

Multis
Multis are a big factor in the voters decision. They show your capabilities of rhyming multiple words and dissing at the same time.
Example....

Im "LOCKING A FLOW" while "ROCKING A SHOW".
Easy stuff that gets you a point and could determin the outcome.

Metaphors
A metaphor is when you say (something is like something). Clever metaphors get noticed, and dont use the played out things.. Mix it with slogans of companies or non-related hiphop things.
Example - "My gun is like pringles once it pop it dont stop!"

Punches/Personals
Obviously the main factor of a battle, usually the emcee with the best punches and personals win. Do your homework, use things against the emcee that the board knows about. Also use their name against themselves, LowRider is an easy target
Examples..
"This STUpid kid gonna get burnt, im bringing heat to this beef, you getting cooked like Stew" (Only messin bro).

Wordplay
This shows which emcee's are text or audio. Wordplay has unlimited uses, clever wordplay can bring smiles to the voters faces, use something different, i will use an example that TrYp told me time ago..
"I let you elevate so i can cut you down just like barber chairs"
If the wordplay is complicated, at the end of the battle put a little explanation so voters understand what you have wro

a simile is when you say 'something is like something'

a metaphor is actually saying something is something that it really isn't like 'i'm the snowman ~ i got the crack game on lock and so much ice'

and don't just spend time looking through thesaurus's for words, just get books and read ni99a.

most rappers ain't really thugs, they're just well educated business men. so the more you fuking read a day the greater your vocabulary will become.
