I would say I've held the weight of the world on my shoulders
Only ... ... I know no man is strong enough to hold even this blocks emotions.

Caged animals, that we are, every one of us here, victims of incarceration
Only music to channel my anger, the odd scrap wont clear my frustration
These years I wont get back, the world moves on, time not for one second waiting
Too many hours on basic, now my thoughts are so strong my mental states in
a place nobody could make clarity of … I cant handle this cell mate chatting of
how many goons he’s dropped, I can see it in his eyes, his credibility’s there for the taking
Put it on him and see what he says then, I thought as much, his bravado’s fadeing
Wings full of masked faces, all wearing an act but my judgement cant be played here

Its rare that friends are made here, only a few mens words have substance
You learn who’s verse is corrupt an believe me there’s fictional work in the hundreds
Man are like ‘yeah trust me, I turn kee’s every week I’ve got untold punters’
Then in the same breath its ‘argh my canteen dint come can you spare me a burn blud’
Its too much, I’m not the humble type so dump them lies round me you get rumbled
No subtle exposure, clearly call your bluff I want closure, I know those tales aint gonna hold up
Cant trust anyone in criminal culture, show signs of weakness they’re about like vultures
It’s a mind game ting, and I’ve broken many acclaimed soldiers with chips on their shoulders
See behind these bars its dawg eat dawg and I’m way too strong for these posers
