If I've ever had a dream it's been ripped at the seams,
Constantly feel like I'm held back by the jealousy of fiends,
I just wanna live my life, That isn't too much to ask,
But to them, that $$$$ is just a disagreeable task
There are many times that I have sat down and wondered,
"Is there really a God?"
Well if there is, then he's blundered,
Surely, if he is the divine entity,
If things are going bad he can fix them for me
Like Jim would, but I don't won't no medal,
I need something good to happen just to keep me settled,
I need something, To stop me going buck wild in the streets,
I try to pull myself up but the cycle repeats
And it has done for years, but then I spot my peers,
They seem to be living a good life,
And one of my deepest fears,
Is that the life that aim for will be just out of reach,
And if I've held it,
It runs through my fingers like the sand on a beach
And each grain that hits the floor amplifies my pain even more,
And makes me realise that this life is a war,
It's like a never ending battle,
And if the enemy ain't me,
Then it's the one's who hold me back,
Why won't they let me be?

It beggars belief that I face this beef,

Just scr-ape that $$$$ off and throw it in the garbage,
Don't you understand that hate will hinder,
It would be an advantage,
To get on with me, and to get on with the world,

I stand alone on the top of the mountain peak,
I could fall into the abyss if I get too weak,
So my inner strength is even more important now,
Just need to channel my focus into not falling down
I need discipline, like the mind of a Buddist,
If I'm gonna survive in this game I've got to be the shrewdest,
And use practical, hard-headed intelligence,
And When they see all their mistakes,
I hope the haters repent
I'll school them to the fact that it doesn't make sense,
To beef with everyone and cause deliberate offense,
And hope to show them the error of their ways,
