Default Let's do something with it

I was just thinkin to myself, it's all good us coming on here and dropping bars, but I reckon we should do some audio, put the bars into practice. We could make a UKMusic mixtape and get some ill talent goin on it.

What do ya all think?

Well, that's how I do it, with a PC, mixer and decks. I was thinking that if we all recorded a song, E-mail them to me and I can get my mate to mix it, he's a $$$$ hot DJ. He also knows loads of people who run record stores in London, so he could put the CD in the shops. I was just suggesting it cos although writing lyrics is ok, it's a lot better to put your sh'it on wax

big grin

i agree with your idea, theres so much to rhymin than writin lyrics as audio skills does play a big part in developin factors like emotions flow pace as well as the skills demonstrated in written lyrics e. multis personas similies syllabic rhymin etc so yeh ppl shud start workin on audio an expand on there rhymin skill vocally as well as keepin a balance on tht written side which contriibutes to the final product also, so workz both wayz, gud idea btw

your audio was deff a gud start u had the emotions there jus need slight scratchin up with projectin urself a lil louder n clearer an maybe addin a hint more of feelin an a lil more wordplay jus to spice it up a lil more an maybe composin a longer track, say 2/3 mins to relli show off your skills and portray the message, an addin more tone an texture to your vocals also so it dont sound too mono toned. other than tht thts a real gud startin piece an i was feelin it also, your voice suits the mic and has potential, keep doin your thin an stay elevatin

note, listenin to friends vocals or artists vocals is an ideal way to develop ideas as long as you dont get driven into copyin their style, an stickin to your own unique style have sumthin in your vocals that makes ppl think yeh thts grimslys track e.g black diamond a uk artist is known for his wordplay, twista speed, eminem multis so find sumthin tht u can make unique about yourself also to mke u shine out frm the crowd , hope tht helps,,,,,,pce

poetik
