I ain't had much time to perfect this rhyme,
But every line that I rhyme is a sign of the times
A cheap wine gets me drunk but then the beat slaps me sober,
The rhymes have more depth because I'm grown, I got older

I'm a soldier, high roller, and I'll be here for while,
The game is gettin' spoilt so I'll treat it like a child,
Buck wild, butt naked, I'm exposed in the zone,
But I don't give a f'uck, I'm in the zone on my own

And still I'm grown, I didn't have a choice in the last few years,
Had to stand up straight and now I'm riding past peers
They kicked their rhymes a little but now their rhymes are forgot,
They gave up on the game but I'm still rocking the block

Squeezing out my thoughts and presenting them in a rhyme,
Had to deal with jealousy and they resenting me, Why?
The new kid at your school usually the one who gets bullied,
But I came here to teach the class so you can grasp this s'hit fully

My Chrysalis is open and I'm hoping now is the time,
Metamorphis now complete, let the world hear my rhymes
Preparation now complete, I've got more bars than a jail,
Get up out your seat cos soon this flow you'll know well

I won't claim to be the best cos I confess, I'm too modest,
But I'm better than a few if I'm gonna be honest,
Of course I won't name no names, they still raising their game,
But they gotta have some substance in the words that they saying

So listen up fast class, I'm giving you an assignment,
Lock yourself in a room and make sure all you're hearing is silence,
Write your illest $$$$, I wanna hear your prose,

My philosphy is to try and co-exist with MC's,
Aggression's lost on me and I'm just living in peace

I suppose that what come's when you grow a little older,
The Devil's gone away, it's just the angel on my shoulder
And a little man in my head who is pushing my buttons
I struggled for a while, but out of nowhere, all of a sudden

It all came together and it came to a head,
Don't wanna work for someone else, I'll pay myself instead
