I'm moving from Stockholm to London in three months time in purpose just to form a band. I have already written and recorded a couple of songs which are available here: http://www.myspace.com/umbrellafolds
My influences are mostly british pop/rock from the 80s, especially from the madchester era. Stone Roses has had an enormous impact on my musical writing, but bands like Happy Mondays, Primal Scream, Joy Division, Jesus and Mary Chain, New Order, Charlatans etc are huge influences as well. Let me know if anyone of you are interested in doing something concrete out of this "concept". I'm 25 years old and my main instrument is the guitar. The recordings on the myspace page are done by me in cubase, so the production maybe is'nt of best quality.
