Necessary Calling

Necessary Calling is a group set up by myself, and two other members. Together, we completed our first album last year, which should be for sale online soon. For more information on that, please check out our MySpace page:



We're in the process of sorting out a small group to initially perform our compositions live, and also are working on a second album that delves further into the realms of nu-Jazz. Compared to the first album, which is based more on Soul and Funk, the second album is very much inspired by artists such as 4hero, Miles Davis, Henry Mancini, Stevie Wonder and so on. That project is a bit of a way off, so we're hoping to build some interest from our fellow musicians and music lovers!

Dear All,

Once again, I apologise for the time it's taken to get information back through. It's all going pretty slow at the moment!

Nevertheless, we've had some progress. The album's started appearing on some of the sites, in particular emusic, Rhapsody, and the RealPlayer 10 Music store.

We're still waiting to hear on the progress with iTunes, and as soon as that information comes through I'll be sure to let you know. I hope to be in touch again soon!
