Default URGENT please help!

Hi, I definitely have an urgent question please.

I’ve been for an open audition with a respectable studio/record label. They want to work on an 18 month project with an unsigned artist, at the end of which the plan is to have an album and be signed with one of the top 5 labels they have contacts with, or alternatively by their own independent label. First stage is a 2 track demo which you are able to write yourself. They will be responsible for all costs of production, extra backing, instruments, gigs, promotion, marketing, PR, all that stuff, bar a contribution of under £1000 to produce the demo. This, apparently, is due to having tried this project before and being let down well into the investment by people who weren’t entirely serious.

Although I am recording, I don’t have much contract experience or knowledge, and although this sounds like a fair idea to me (due to the investment they will make and the lack of commitment they’ve had in the past), I wanted some other opinions. They are due to call with a yes or no any day following my audition on Saturday, so urgent advice would be brilliant, thank you 
